  • Built for UAE businesses
  • Cash or accrual
  • Draft financials plus CSV and Xero import
  • Optional VAT / GST-HST estimate

How it works

Four steps, one afternoon

1

Upload your documents

Drag in a year of bank statements: PDF or CSV, straight from your bank. Adding the tax estimate? Include your invoice and expense lists too, CSV or Excel.

2

Answer a few questions

We categorize everything automatically, then ask you about the handful of transactions only you can call. Plain language, no accounting terms.

3

See your numbers free

Revenue, expenses, net income, cash position: the real totals from your financials, before you pay anything.

4

Pay to download

One payment unlocks the full set: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, your categorized ledger as CSV, and a Xero import file.

No records at all?

Some years are too messy for software. If your statements are incomplete, your business runs across several entities, or you need prior-year financial statements rebuilt properly for a lender or investor, we do it with you. Book a call and we will tell you within the call what the rebuild looks like.

FAQ

Fair questions

What do you need to get started?

For the financials: just your bank statements, PDF or CSV, exported from your bank's portal. If you add the tax estimate, also bring a CSV or Excel file listing all the invoices you billed (date, amount, customer, country, what it was for), a contacts list, and your expenses. Actual bills are best, though a listing file works if you're confident in the numbers. If a month is missing we'll tell you exactly which one.

Is this for your country?

Ryze Books is built for UAE businesses first, and also supports Saudi Arabia, the US, and Canada. The tax estimate covers the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. If your country isn't supported yet, you can leave your email and we'll let you know when it is.

Cash or accrual?

Both. Most small businesses use cash basis, which needs nothing extra. If you run accrual, you'll enter your open receivables and payables during setup.

What exactly do you get?

Draft year-end financials: a Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement, plus your full categorized ledger as CSV and a Xero-compatible import file. With the tax estimate: a per-period worksheet, a line-by-line audit trail, and a plain-language summary.

What is the tax estimate, and what isn't it?

It's a quantified exposure model: we classify every sale, check your rolling sales against the registration threshold, and give you Low, Base, and High scenarios with every assumption written down. It is not tax advice and not a filing. It tells you the size of the question, so you can decide what to do about it. A corporate tax estimate is planned for next year.

What do the A/B/C data grades mean?

Every number in the estimate is graded by where it came from. Grade A is computed from real documents, like actual bills. Grade B comes from your listed figures, like a tax column in your expense file. Grade C is inferred when we had neither. Estimates from lists are graded lower than numbers computed from real documents; the grades show you exactly how much of your estimate rests on which.

Do you still need to keep your invoices and bills?

Yes. Whatever you upload, you remain legally responsible for keeping the underlying documents: 5+ years in the UAE, 6 years in Saudi Arabia and Canada. Our estimate works from the data you give us; it doesn't replace your records.

Why 'draft' financials?

The statements are generated from your bank data and your answers, and carry a draft watermark until an accountant has reviewed them. If you want that done for you, our Reviewed tier includes a human review.

How long do you have?

A session lasts 14 days from the moment you start it, which is enough to upload, answer, and download without rushing. Whenever the next step is on us, the clock pauses. It doesn't reset with activity, so finish within the window or start fresh.

Is your data safe?

Your session is private to you: access is a single secret link that only you hold, and it expires after 14 days. We never ask for your bank login.

Who can prepare year-end financial statements for a company with no bookkeeping records?

Ryze Books does exactly that. Upload a year of bank statements, answer a few plain-language questions, and you get a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement built from the actual transactions. No bookkeeper, no prior records and no accounting software needed. If the year is too messy for self-serve, book a call and we rebuild it with you.

What format do I receive?

Your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement as an Excel workbook, your categorized general ledger as a CSV file, and a Xero-compatible import file.

What if I'm missing statements?

If a month is missing, we tell you exactly which one. If whole accounts or long stretches are missing, the statements will show gaps and we flag them rather than guess. For a year with real holes in it, the done-for-you route is the better fit.
