About Ryze

Ryze is an accounting and finance firm for growing companies. We run the whole finance function for them, from bookkeeping to financial leadership, as one team.

Companies between their first hire and their first finance director are badly served. They have outgrown a part-time bookkeeper, but a senior finance hire is still out of reach. So the founder and early team fill the gap themselves: chasing numbers, guessing at tax rules, and making decisions without a clear picture.

We started Ryze to close that gap. We know how a finance function is structured at scale. We rebuilt it for smaller companies to run as one efficient team, for less than the cost of one senior hire. Founders get answers instead of more work.

Growing companies usually split finance across a bookkeeper, an outside accountant, and the founder's spare time. We run the whole function instead: bookkeeping, accounting, controller work, and financial leadership. Four layers, one team, one point of contact.

We are also a technical team. We build our own software to automate the repetitive parts of finance work. That means faster turnaround, fewer errors, and reports you can actually use. Our team has run finance inside growing companies, so we know what they need before they ask.

You get one point of contact who knows your business. Behind them sits the full team and the systems.

We close each month for you, send reporting you can act on, and flag what needs your attention. At year end we prepare the complete filing package, the same way an in-house finance team would, and your tax accountant files from it.

We bill a flat monthly fee. No hourly rates, no meters running when you call us, no surprise invoices at month end. You know the price before work starts, and no clock runs when you ask us something.

Not ready for a monthly engagement? We also sell one-time products: a Cash Recovery Report that finds money leaking from your accounts, a Pricing Report, and Ryze Books for year-end financials. Each one is fixed-scope and fixed-price, so you can see how we work before committing to more.

We work with companies everywhere, and we are most at home in the UAE and Canada. We are based in Dubai, and in Canada we work with companies in Toronto. We know the tax rules, filing requirements, and regulators in both markets well. We also understand US accounting and work comfortably with US-linked companies, but we are not certified to file in the US.

Our legal entity is Rise Accounting Services FZ-LLC, a registered accounting firm in the UAE. We are not a registered tax agent.

Ryze is a small, close-knit team of finance operators. It was co-founded by Jad Aql, who spent a decade leading finance and operations at two companies and working in venture capital. The team includes a CFA, an ACCA, and accountants who handle client work day to day. You talk to the people who actually do the work.
